HEATH, BULLS LOOKING AT SOUTH KENT PLAYERS

Greg Auman of the St. Petersburg Times updates his USF Sports Bulletin Blog with some recruiting information on the South Florida Bulls. USF is in the mix with South Kent G/F Mike Burwell. The New Jersey Guard Will Officially Visit the Bulls next weekend. Burwell averaged 27 points per game last season at Cardinal McCarrick High School in South Amboy (NJ) and took a prep season to increase his exposure to colleges. Others showing interest, according to South Kent coach Kelvin Jefferson, include Seton Hall, Stanford, Rutgers and Penn State.

Another South Kent player, 6-foot-8, 235-pound power forward Jackie Carmichael, who has been recruited by Rutgers and Seton Hall, as well as non-majors such as Southern Illinois, South Alabama, TCU and Western Kentucky, is also on the edge of the USF radar as the spring recruiting period approaches.
